Five tradesman from the sheetmetal, pipe fitting, plumbing and service trades founded Balco Services, Inc in 1985.  The company was organized to provide complete mechanical systems for commercial and industrial customers.  In addition to the traditional certifications provided by the trade union, some of our employees have acquired certification for:

  • Master Plumber

  • Medical Gas Certification

  • Cross connection control testing

  • Boiler and equipment start-up

  • Make-up air systems

  • Roof-top HVAC systems

  • A Honeywell® automation system contractor

  • Refrigerant material handling and reclaiming certification

  • Above ground fuel tank system design, installation and piping, State of Wisconsin certified

We have seven main departments within our company

  • The HVAC Controls Department provides fully trained and experienced people 24 hours a day that handle all types of HVAC and plumbing related problems.

  • The Sheetmetal Department can provide you complete in-house fabrication, computerized sheetmetal cutting, field layout and installation of units and ductwork for Commercial, Industrial and Institutional projects.  Plus, this department installs air cleaning, filtering and dust collection systems.

  • The Plumbing Department performs all facets of the plumbing industry including installation of gas and air piping, back-flow prevention, medical gas piping, water and sanitary systems.  Also, we can provide testing of backflow prevention devices and the service of your plumbing systems.

  • The Pipefitting Department performs all facets of the pipefitting industry.  We are high-pressure steam welding certified, we install boilers, chillers and related process piping systems.

  • Service, design and installation of control systems as well as new or retrofit control systems are provided through our control department.  We are also a Honeywell® site monitoring service.

  • In-house HVAC designs including heat calculations and equipment sizing.

  • The estimating department for plan and spec projects and budget projections is able to digitize blue prints for precise material requirements list.
